As we come up the end of a turbulent year, it's time to reflect on what New Year’s resolutions we should make. Yes, here comes the list of things that will remain undone until the next resolution-making session in 2023…

Don't let this be your fate! Let's start out 2023 with a plan and some achievable goals. Here are a few ideas for funny resolutions you might consider this year:

1) Get organized: Start by tidying up your desk and organizing all those cords behind your computer – don't let them tangle like that!

2) Take more risks: Ever wanted to try something new but been too scared? Make 2023 the year to take risks and try something daring – just make sure it's within the safety guidelines.

3) Get out of your comfort zone: Take a class, go to a different restaurant or even take a trip somewhere new! This can be scary, but you'll surprise yourself with how much you can learn by doing something out of the ordinary.

4) Make time for yourself: We often forget that taking care of our mental health is just as important as physical health. Carve out some time each day to do an activity that reduces stress and helps you relax.

5) Laugh more: Find ways to incorporate humour into your daily life – this could include watching funny movies or videos, reading jokes or finding funny quotes to post on social media.

6) Appreciate the small things: This could be anything from enjoying your morning cup of coffee to appreciating a beautiful sunset. Taking time to appreciate the little things can help us stay grounded and happy.

7) Be kind to yourself: Don’t let negative self-talk take over in 2023 — remind yourself that you are worthy and capable of achieving great things. Give yourself some credit for all that you've accomplished this year and focus on being more kind to yourself going forward.

8) Learn something new: Have you been wanting to pick up a hobby or learn a new skill? Now is the perfect time to get started — take a class, watch some tutorials or read some books on the subject. Learning something new can help you stay motivated and engaged in life.

9) Get creative: Spend more time exploring your creative side in 2023. Try out different mediums like painting, writing, photography or even musical instruments! You never know where your creativity will take you.

10) Appreciate nature: Make it a goal this year to spend more time outdoors — go for hikes, plan camping trips or just try to appreciate the beauty of nature around you every day. This can be incredibly therapeutic and calming for your mind.

Bonus: 11) Let go of grudges: Holding onto grudges from previous years can be mentally draining and damaging to our overall wellbeing. Make it a goal this year to forgive those who have wronged you and learn how to let things go. You'll feel so much lighter once you do!

Let's make 2023 the year of funny resolutions! Make sure you set achievable goals and have fun with it — after all, laughter is the best medicine!

Happy new year, everyone – here’s to a bright and successful 2023 ahead of us! May we all achieve our goals and laugh through the entire process. Cheers
